Description	:	Harry Bicket McKelvey of Clemons died at 1:30 pm Wednesday at St Thomas Mercy Hospital, where he had been a patient since Tuesday afternoon. He had been in failing health for 12 years. Mr McKelvey was born in Marietta August 7, 1882, a son of Frank and Ellen McKelvey, early residents of Marshall county. In 1893 he moved to the Clemons neighborhood where he since had resided. Mr McKelvey was born in Marietta August 7, 1882, a son of Frank and Ellen McKelvey, early residents of Marshall county. In 1893 he moved to the Clemons neighborhood where he since had resided. He was married to Marianne Jane Odell October 11, 1919 in London, Ontario, Canada. Mr McKelvey is survived by his widow, two sons, Wayne and Bryon McKelvey and a daughter, Marguerite McKelvey, all at home; a sister, Mrs H T Braddock of Chadron, Nebraska, and a grandson. Another daughter, Kathleen, died in 1921. The body is at the Estel Funeral Home in this city, awaiting word from relatives in Canada before burial arrangements are made. Wednesday February 4, 1942 Marshalltown Times Republican Funeral services for Harry B McKelvey, who died Wednesday morning at the St Thomas Mercy Hospital at Marshalltown, were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Congregational Christian Church in charge of Rev George Biersborn of Liscomb. Burial was in the Clemons Cemetery. Mr McKelvey had been in failing health for twelve years. February 12, 1942 State Center Enterprise.
