Description	:	Byron Theodore Guenthner Saturday, June 13th, 1931 – Thursday, February 4th, 2021 Byron Theodore Guenthner went to meet his heavenly father the morning of February 4, 2021. He was born June 13, 1931 in Hazen, North Dakota. Along with his twin brother Duane weighing in at 2 1/2 pounds each to Elizabeth (Isaak) and Reinhold Guenthner. Read More	Byron Theodore Guenthner Saturday, June 13th, 1931 – Thursday, February 4th, 2021 Byron Theodore Guenthner went to meet his heavenly father the morning of February 4, 2021. He was born June 13, 1931 in Hazen, North Dakota. Along with his twin brother Duane weighing in at 2 1/2 pounds each to Elizabeth (Isaak) and Reinhold Guenthner. He grew up in North Dakota until high school and the family moved to Walla Walla, Washington for three years before the family moved to Silesia, Montana where the family farmed. Byron graduated from Joliet High School in 1949. He served in the Army from 1955 to 1959. He met Arleen Yonkee when he was an officer in Walther League. They were married in Wisconsin on June 21,1958 they had three children. He attended Coyn Electronics school in Chicago before returning to Montana to become a television and radio technician. He later owned and operated ABC TV and Appliance in Laurel, Montana for many years with his wife Arleen. Byron was proud of his German heritage and could be heard playing his accordion at home or helping with events at the annual Laurel Herbsfest. He was a Charter member of the Laurel Lions Club where he helped organize develop several charitable events to help people in need. He later served as Montana District Governor and was a Melvin Jones fellow. He was also inducted into the Lions Club Hall of Fame. He is survived by his wife Arleen of 63 years his three children Jeffery (Lori) Guenthner of Billings, Ellen Houston of Georgia and Craig Guenthner of Laurel. Three grandchildren Taryn Guenthner of Billings, Jackie (Nick) Smithson of Billings and Amrin Houston of Georgia. Three wonderful great grandchildren Chevelle, Paizley and Everly. His brothers Harold, Theodore and twin bother Duane He is proceeded in death by his parents Reinhold and Elizabeth two sisters Freida Wells and Edna Arthurs and four brothers Alvin, Howard, Raymond and John. Funeral services will be held at 10am Wednesday February 8, 2021 St. Johns Lutheran Church in Laurel. Interment follows at the Yellowstone National Cemetery with full military honors. Luncheon to follow at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Laurel. Memorials can be made to Lions Club International 300 west 22nd St Oakbrook, IL. 60523. Or St. Johns Lutheran Church P.O.
