The following hymns were sung by Mrs. Elmer Christensen accompanied by her son, "Sweetly Resting", "Lord I'm Coming Home:, and Good Night and Good Morning". The pallbearers were: Stanley Pedersen, Dale Christensen, Henry Hansen, Carl Christensen, Roy Kolar and Donald Rasmussen. OBITUARY Camilla Christine Pedersen, daughter of Rasmus and Karen Pedersen, was born on a farm near Dannebrog on May 20, 1889. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Peder's Lutheran Church in Nysted. She was united in marriage to Carl Peter Jessen on September 30 1908. To this union was born one daughter, Mildred. Mr. and Mrs. Jessen lived the first year of their married life in Dannebrog. The family later lived on various farms near Dannebrog and Cairo. In the fall of 1943 she and her husband moved to Dannebrog where they resided. Two years ago her health began to fail and since then she has lived with her daughter and family, where she was cared for until five weeks ago when she was taken to the Lutheran Hospital at Grand Island. She passed away January 23rd, at the age of 68 years, 8 months, and 3 days. Surviving her are her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Thorvald Christensen of Dannebrog; one granddaughter, Mrs. Donna Jean Andersen of North Platte; one grandson, Ronald Christensen of Dannebrog; one great-granddaughter, Debra Andersen; one sister, Mrs. Olga Christensen; and one brother; Carl Pedersen, both of Dannebrog; and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one sister and two brothers. Mrs. Jessen was a member of the Royal Neighbors Lodge for many years.
