Description	:	Carl A. Huprich, 79, a native of New Bedford, Ohio and resident of Robertsdale, died Dec. 17, 1997. He was the son of Belthadser and Gertrude Fisher Huprich. Huprich attended West Point and graduated as valedictorian of Ohio State University. He later received a master's degree at the Western Michigan University and taught classes at WMU as well as the ASQCE and AMA. Read More	Carl A. Huprich, 79, a native of New Bedford, Ohio and resident of Robertsdale, died Dec. 17, 1997. He was the son of Belthadser and Gertrude Fisher Huprich. Huprich attended West Point and graduated as valedictorian of Ohio State University. He later received a master's degree at the Western Michigan University and taught classes at WMU as well as the ASQCE and AMA. He was very active with Arabian horses and founded Huprich Arabians with his wife over 50 years ago. He was cofounder, past officer, and past board member of various Arabian organizations, such as Dixie Arabian Horse Club, the International Arabian Horse Assoc. and several others. He had several patented inventions and was owner of Lake Products Corp. and Hocking Plastics and division manager of Brunswick Corp. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Helen Huprich and a daughter, Carla Huprich. Survivors include two sons, Clifford L. Huprich of Grand Rapids, Mich. and Don C. Huprich of Atlanta; a daughter, Melissa K. Huprich of Atlanta; a grandson Chris M. Kuivenhoven of Washington, D.C.; a granddaughter, Rachel L. Huprich of Atlanta; and a sister, Bonnie Schavf of Akron, Ohio. Services were held Dec. 22 at Sovers Funeral Home in Nelsonville, Ohio. A memorial service was held Dec. 21 at the Loxley United Methodist church with the Rev. Meadows officiating. Mack Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
