Preceding him in death were his wife, Ella, on March 26, 1967, his parents, two brothers, Ray and Glenn, and two sisters, Bessie Dunn and Jessie Vough. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Blanche Brown of Loveland, Colorado, and Mrs. Faye Boone of Camas, Washington; three brothers, Wilbur and his wife, Norma, of Phoenix, Arizona, Frank and his wife, Opal, and Edward and his wife, Berniece, all of Hemet, California; also many nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services were held Wednesday, October 22, 1986, at 2:00 p.m. from the Nelson Cemetery, Nelson, Nebraska, with Rev. Morris Coggin officiating. Casketbearers were Elbert Farver, Oliver Farver, Ward Stansbury, Henry Wehrman Jr., Gleen Oltmans and Ted Madson. Burial was in the Nelson Cemetery.
