Carol was born on Aug. 22, 1956, at Loup City, the daughter of Tony M. and Lois M. (Schnase) Kuligowski. Carol was born on Aug. 22, 1956, at Loup City, the daughter of Tony M. and Lois M. (Schnase) Kuligowski. Carol is survived by: daughter and her fiance, Casey Wilson and Adam Raiesberg, both of Omaha; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Czaplewski of Grand Island, Diane and Russell Panowicz of Ravenna and Dan Cranny of Omaha; brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward and Kathy Kuligowski of Elgin, TX, Steve and Arlene Kuligowski and John and Theresa Kuligowski, all of Lincoln, and Jim and Blanca Kuligowski of Austin, TX. Carol grew up in Loup City where she received her education in Loup City Public Schools and was a 1974 graduate of Loup City High School. After graduation, she moved to Ord where she worked at the Elks Club and later moved to Lincoln where she worked at the American Legion Club for a number of years. In 1989, she returned to Loup City where she purchased the Sunset Lounge. She expanded the Sunset Lounge into including a cafe and catering business. Carol was united in marriage to Brent E. Wilson in 1989. They later divorced. Carol continued to operate her business until May 2011, when she was diagnosed with cancer. Carol enjoyed cooking, cleaning, decorating, watching movies and collecting clocks and frogs. Her daughter, Casey was the true joy of her life. Carol was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Cranny; and brother-in-law, Ron Czaplewski. Inurnment was in the Evergreen Cemetery in Loup City, NE.
