September 5, 1846 and when she was ten years of age came with her parents to Louisa County, Iowa, subsequently moving to Iowa City, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Rev. A. Schwimley at Iowa City December 12, 1867 and the two have lived together over 47 years ... To the foregoing union was born two sons, Rev. William Alvin Schwimley, pastor of a Congregational church at Lodi, California, who was present at her bedside, and Frederick Erastus, who died when a little child four years old,...
