Description	:	Mrs. C.D. Pangburn Passed Away Sunday Mrs. C.D. Pangburn passed away at the family home in Creighton last Sunday morning at four o'clock. She had suffered a paralytic stroke on Saturday and was unable to speak after that being conscious only about one and one half hours. She had been in poor health for several months. Pangburn passed away at the family home in Creighton last Sunday morning at four o'clock. She had suffered a paralytic stroke on Saturday and was unable to speak after that being conscious only about one and one half hours. She had been in poor health for several months. Caroline Crandall was born in Cook county, Ill. February 13, 1847, where she lived and grew to womanhood. On March 8, 1869 she was married to C.D. Pangburn. In March 1883 she came west to join her husband, who had taken a homestead near Creighton, where she together with her husband resided seven years. The family afterwards removed to Creighton, where they have since resided in the present home. Mrs. Pangburn was the mother of three children, all of whom survive her and were present at the funeral. the children are: Albert of Ekalaka, Mont., Ilah Hoverson of Clinton, Mont. and Wilbert of Ravenna, S.D., who together with the husband mourn the loss of a dutiful mother and wife. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild and four brothers and two sisters. The sisters surviving are Mrs. Clara Gilson of Waden, Ind. and Mrs. Electa Weber of Blue Island, Ill. The brothers surviving are Myron Crandall, Chicago, Albert Crandall, Winnetoon, Harry Crandall, Creighton and Mark Crandall, Wadena, Ind. Mark Crandall and Mrs. Clara Gilson were present to attend the funeral. Mrs. Pangburn was a member of the Degree of Honor Lodge and the Methodist church. In the death of Mrs. Pangburn, a large coterie of friends have lost the companionship of a woman, whom their acquaintanceship with has been cherished and her memory will endure, not only in the family circle, but by others as well. The funeral was held from the M.E. Church this (Thursday) afternoon conducted by Rev. T.E. Smith and burial made in the Creighton cemetery. The News extends sympathy to those who mourn.
