Carolyn was born Carolyn Sue Mays in Mulberry, Kansas, on April 4, 1942, to Walter Raymond and Juanita Mays. She was the oldest of three children, brother Jack and sister Linda. Carolyn was actively involved in school as a cheerleader and school newspaper editor, as well as Homecoming Queen and Valedictorian. Read More	Carolyn Schwind-Ehlman passed away August 3, 2019 at her home with her children by her side. She was 77. Carolyn was born Carolyn Sue Mays in Mulberry, Kansas, on April 4, 1942, to Walter Raymond and Juanita Mays. She was the oldest of three children, brother Jack and sister Linda. Carolyn was actively involved in school as a cheerleader and school newspaper editor, as well as Homecoming Queen and Valedictorian. She volunteered and worked on John Kennedy’s presidential campaign. Carolyn married her high school sweetheart, Norman Schwind, in 1961. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was predeceased by her sister Linda Bolton in 2014. She is survived by her four children, Sherry Nelson of Plain City, Utah, Clinton Schwind of Tracy, California, Norman “Paul” Schwind of Berry Creek, California, and Lori Schwind of Boulder, Colorado, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and her brother, Jack Mays of Oroville, California. Carolyn was actively involved at St Barnard’s Catholic Church, always volunteering her time and giving communion to those unable to attend church by going to their home. Visitation services were on Tuesday, Aug 13, 2019, from 5-7 PM at Tracy Memorial Chapel, and a rosary recited at 6 PM. A mass of Christian burial on Wednesday, Aug 14, 2019 at 11 AM at St Bernard’s Catholic Church. Burial held in Mulberry, Kansas. “Our mother was very kind and we adored her very, very much. We will always miss you mom. Thank you for our lives,”
