Manseau died Monday at the Lookout Memorial Hospital in Spearfish. One son survives, Edward Manseau of Lead. She is preceded in death by her husband, Armand (sic), who died in 1942. Lead Daily Call, Wednesday, February 12, 1986, page 2: Catherine Manseau LEAD – Mass of Christian Burial for Catherine Manseau, 91 of Lead, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, 1986, in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. The Rev. James Brecht will be celebrant. Christian wake and rosary will be recited 8 p.m. Wednesday in St. Patrick’s. Burial will be in the South Lead Cemetery, under the direction of Fidler Funeral Chapel. A memorial has been established to St. Patrick’s building fund. She died Monday in Lookout Memorial Hospital in Spearfish. Catherine was born Sept. 29, 1894, in Lead to Dominic and Theresa Caretto. She lived here all of her life, and attended Lead schools. She was a telephone operator for several years. She married Ormand Manseau Jan. 20, 1913. He died in 1942. Catherine was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, the St. Patrick’s Altar Guild and the Twin Cities Senior Citizens’ Center. Survivors include her son, Ed of Lead; three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, one daughter, two brothers and a sister.
