Description	:	Catherine Elizabeth Poling, 75, of Shiloh Community, Moatsville, died Wednesday, May 9, 2018, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, following an extended illness. She was born June 18, 1942, at Philippi, a daughter of the late Rev. Henry Obed and Beatrice Rose (Coffman) Poling. On June 3, 1961, she was married to Donald Wayne Poling, who preceded her in death on January 13, 2016. Survivors include Travis T. James and Euriah T. James, of Akron, OH, who called her Mom-Mom; one sister, Henrietta J. Ball and husband, David, Moatsville; one brother, Joseph H. Poling and wife, Pauline, Grafton; several brothers and sisters-in-law... Poling and wife, Pauline, Grafton; several brothers and sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Betty Lew Flory and by one brother, Robert Harry Poling. Mrs. Poling was a graduate of Belington High School. She was a homemaker, a former library employee in Ohio and a former employee of Reidbord Brothers Clothing Manufacturers. She was a member of the Shiloh Church of the Brethren and the Shiloh Ladies Aide. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 from the Shiloh Church of the Brethren, Shiloh Road, Moatsville. The Rev. Garry Clem and the Rev. Todd Mouser will officiate and interment will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Monday and from 9:00 until 11:00 A.M. the funeral hour on Tuesday. The Stemple & Forman Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
