Description	:	Mrs. Catherine U. Cerico, 88, formerly of 3710 W. 10th, died Thursday evening at a Topeka nursing home where she had been a patient more than a year. She was born March 23, 1887 in Salina, and had lived in Topeka most of her life. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Anthony's Guild and the altar society of the church, and was an honorary member of the Ladies of Columbus. Cerico, 88, formerly of 3710 W. 10th, died Thursday evening at a Topeka nursing home where she had been a patient more than a year. She was born March 23, 1887 in Salina, and had lived in Topeka most of her life. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Anthony's Guild and the altar society of the church, and was an honorary member of the Ladies of Columbus. She was married to Charles Clerico on July 28, 1914 in Topeka. He died Oct. 3, 1958. Survivors include five sons, Vincent Cerico, 3710 W. 10th, Richard Cerico, 1308 Boswell, Kenneth Cerico, 1126 Garfield, Leon Cerico, San Antonio, and LeRoy Cerico, Wichita; a daughter, Deloris P. Cerico, 2015 E. 10th; two sisters, Sister Mary Georgina, Mother House, Leavenworth, and Agnes Degan, 4712 W. 6th, and five grandchildren. Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Cerico will lie in state from 2 until 9 p.m. Sunday at Brennan Funeral Home.
