SEBRING Cecil Leland Caswell, daughter of Jefferson and Elizabeth Caswell was born April 16, 1896 at Adrain, Missouri, and passed from this life at the Humboldt hospital Aug. 28, 1956 at the age of 60 years, four months and 12 days. SEBRING Cecil Leland Caswell, daughter of Jefferson and Elizabeth Caswell was born April 16, 1896 at Adrain, Missouri, and passed from this life at the Humboldt hospital Aug. 28, 1956 at the age of 60 years, four months and 12 days. She was one of a family of four. Her two sisters, Hazel and Ada, and one brother, Francis, preceded her in death. In 1904 she came with her parents to DuBois to live and was graduated from the DuBois high school in 1913. She was united in marriage to Cecil Sebring in 1914 at DuBois and they made their home in the DuBois community as well as Bradyville, IA. To this union was born one son in 1923, who died at birth. In 1912 she united with the United Brethern church in DuBois. She remained active in the church where she lived all her life, being a pianist for many years, acting as class leader of the church as well as teacher of the Ladies Bible Class during the last five years, Her faith has been a constant encouragement to many. Surviving are her husband; an aunt, Mrs. Lillie Britt, DuBois; two nieces, Mrs. Elizabeth McClelland and Mrs. Dotty Jean Baumgarten, both of Clarinda, Ia.; one nephew, Lee Kaserman of Shenandoah, Ia. and many friends. Funeral services were held Aug. 30, at the EUB church with Rev. Duane Lenz officiating. Burial was in the DuBois cemetery. Singers were Mrs. Lyle Farwell and Mrs.Ross Kerl. Pall bearers were Harold Mosteller, Herbert Marteney, Leo Haight, Ivan Nemec and Donald Hayward. Mrs Leo Haight and Mrs. Edith White were flower ladies. Sebring of Oakland, Iowa, have bought the Harry Hildebrand property in DuBois, now occupied by Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Beamer. Mr. and Mrs. Sebring moved to DuBois the first of the week.
