Description	:	Cecil Mathias Lumpkins, 79, of Leonardtown died Friday, at Washington Hospital Center. He was the son of the late John Thomas Mary Allenya Ridgell Lumpkins and he was the husband of the late Margaret Luvina Norris Lumpkins whom he married at St. Michael's Church in Ridge Nov. 9, 1941. He was survived by five sons and five daughters. His son Cecil M. Lumpkins, Jr. predeceased him. He was the brother of Clarence, Steve and John Lumpkins and Ruby Poe, Laura Bond, and Girlie Reamy. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, with the Rev. David Werning celebrating. Interment followed in St. Michael's Church Cemetery. Pallbearers for Mr. Lumpkins will be Todd Normand, Chris George, Bradley Hagen, Jason Lumpkins, Brian Springer and Sean Lumpkins. Darrin Lumpkins will be an honorary pallbearer.
