Description	:	Celestina Cipra, daughter of Anna and Joe Cipra, was born in Bohemia June 21, 1861. There she grew to young womanhood and in the spring of 1881 she came to America locating in Creston, Iowa. Her parents followed her in the fall of the same year. Her mother departed this life on Easter Sunday of the next spring leaving to her care her youngest sister, Emma, who was then 2 years of age. Read More	Celestina Cipra, daughter of Anna and Joe Cipra, was born in Bohemia June 21, 1861. There she grew to young womanhood and in the spring of 1881 she came to America locating in Creston, Iowa. Her parents followed her in the fall of the same year. Her mother departed this life on Easter Sunday of the next spring leaving to her care her youngest sister, Emma, who was then 2 years of age. Celestina was united in marriage to Mr. Joseph Blazek August 3, 1882 and the next month the happy couple moved to Fontanelle, Iowa where they made their home for almost 14 years. To this union five children were born: William, Christie, Edward, Clara and one who departed this life in infancy. Besides caring for her own children she gave her motherly love and care to her youngest sister, Emma, and for a few years to the two children of her departed sister, Mrs. Josephine Hofmann. The family moved to the present farm home south of Williamson in the year 1896 and there through summer sunshine and winter snow they labored together that those entrusted to their care might enjoy the comforts of life. One year ago on August 3 occurred the fiftieth and Golden Wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Blazek and although life's road stretched far into the past the candle of life still burned high. It was one of the most enjoyable occasions in the memory of the community. Mrs. Blazek was a loving and devoted wife, a kind and affectionate mother, an industrious homemaker and one of the best of neighbors. Edward Blazek departed this life December 4, 1931. Mrs. Celestina Blazek answered the call and followed her son into the Great Unknown September 6 at the age of 72 years, 2 months and 14 days. She leaves to mourn her departure her beloved husband; two daughters, Mrs. Christie Vicker of Cromwell and Mrs. Clara Kosar of Nevinville; one son, William Blazek of Orient; one sister, Mrs. Emma Angell of Omaha, Nebraska; two brothers, Joseph Cipra of Creston and Albert of Omaha, Nebraska; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; besides these many other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were conducted by Z. M. Bressler of Nevinville Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the Williamson Bohemian Hall. Internment was made in the Bohemian National Cemetery.
