E. and Cordelia Tout Marker, was born January 13, 1923, in Ottercreek township, Lucas county, Iowa and passed away at his home on February 3, 1932, aged 9 years and 20 days, after a three months illness. He is survived by his parents, two sisters, Julia Ann and Mary Frances, and one brother, John William, also a grandfather, J. W. Marker, and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins, besides many friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond, on October 22, 1928. He was a sweet, lovable child and will be greatly missed in the home and by his schoolmates. Funeral services were held at the Norwood U. B. church on Friday, February 5, at 11 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Watts, after which the body was laid to rest in the Fletcher cemetery beside his brother, Raymond. A male quartet from Lacona furnished the music. The pallbearers were Wayne Ruble, Charles Housman, Rex and Olin Coles and were the same ones who served as pallbearers for his brother, Raymond, in 1928.
