Description	:	Charles W. Scherzinger was born at Clarington, Ohio, on August 4th, 1870, and died at Nelson, Nebr., Sunday night, March 17th, 1907, aged 36 years, 7 months and 13 days. He removed to Nebraska in the year 1888, and was married at Oak, Nebr., to Miss Emma A. Fletcher on April 3d (sic), 1892. In 1895 they went to reside in Kansas City, and from there removed to California in 1899. Scherzinger was born at Clarington, Ohio, on August 4th, 1870, and died at Nelson, Nebr., Sunday night, March 17th, 1907, aged 36 years, 7 months and 13 days. He removed to Nebraska in the year 1888, and was married at Oak, Nebr., to Miss Emma A. Fletcher on April 3d (sic), 1892. In 1895 they went to reside in Kansas City, and from there removed to California in 1899. It was during this California residence that the deceased contracted the ailment which eventually caused his death. In 1904 he and his wife and family made their home in Denver, Colo., and finally in September 1906 he came to Nelson, being followed soon after by his family. The family consists of three children, Clifford, Grace and Kate, who, together with his wife, mother and two brothers, Frank A. and Jacob P., are his survivors. His father, John B. Scherzinger, died on April 20th, 1897. Always hopeful and ever looking on the bright side of things Bro. Scherzinger expected almost to the last to finally regain his health. While taking a great interest together with his wife in all christian activities, he had never definitely given himself to God. But a short time ago he made this surrender of his heart to Christ, and in the joy of that new experience he looked forward to an earnest christian life in the service of his Lord. The end came very peacefully. The fatal disease had at last run its course, and on Sabbath evening last he gently fell asleep. But, "We know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved we have a building of God, a house not made with hands eternal in the heavens."
