Description	:	ROST YOST SCHERZINGER Rosa Yost was born in Clarington, Ohio, July 26, 1842; died at her home in Nelson, Nebraska, August 18, 1917, after a lingering illness covering a period of about eight months last past. One April 28, 1864, she was united in marriage to John B. Scherzinger. To this union four boys and two girls were born. Read More	ROST YOST SCHERZINGER Rosa Yost was born in Clarington, Ohio, July 26, 1842; died at her home in Nelson, Nebraska, August 18, 1917, after a lingering illness covering a period of about eight months last past. One April 28, 1864, she was united in marriage to John B. Scherzinger. To this union four boys and two girls were born. Of these two survive her - Frank A. of The Nelson Gazette, and Jake P. of Nora; also three brothers, two sisters and five grand children. Deceased came to Nebraska in 1888, and resided on the farm near Nora until a few years ago, when she moved to Nelson. The husband preceded her to the beyond, having departed this life April 20, 1897. She was a member of the Methodist church and was a faithful communicant until failing health intefeared (sic). Her faith in the religion of the Christ was steadfast until the last, and while there were the pangs of sorrow at leaving the loved ones, she rejoiced in the anticipation of the reunion of beloved husband and dear ones to greet her on the other side. Scores of friends in this community and in her former home in Ohio to whom she had cheerfully and faithfully administered in times of sickness and sorrow, will mourn her death. Funeral services were conducted at the Methodist church in Nelson, on Monday afternoon, by her Pastor, the Rev. W.W.
