Description	:	Charlotte Annalee White, 83, of Lowesville died Saturday, April 4, 2015 on her 66th wedding anniversary at Lynchburg General Hospital.Born August 17, 1931 in Nelson County, a daughter of the late Maury C. Fitzgerald and Carrie Fitzgerald. In addition to her parents, her husband, John Harvey White, one son, A. Stephen White, two sisters, Lillian Kidd and Catherine Kidd, and one brother, Caskie Fitzgerald preceded her in death. Charlotte was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Read More	Charlotte Annalee White, 83, of Lowesville died Saturday, April 4, 2015 on her 66th wedding anniversary at Lynchburg General Hospital.Born August 17, 1931 in Nelson County, a daughter of the late Maury C. Fitzgerald and Carrie Fitzgerald. In addition to her parents, her husband, John Harvey White, one son, A. Stephen White, two sisters, Lillian Kidd and Catherine Kidd, and one brother, Caskie Fitzgerald preceded her in death. Charlotte was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. A foster parent, a companion farmer with her late husband, John, a softball player and even at times worked as a logger with her husband and was a member of Jonesboro Baptist Church in Roseland. She is survived by two daughters, Leigh W. Harvey (Mac) of Amherst and Cynthia C. Angus of Lowesville, one son, John Harvey White, Jr., of Lowesville, daughter-in-law, Linda H. White of Rustburg, three grandchildren, Rebecca Blanks, M. Bradon Campbell and Nicole Campbell and three great-grandchildren, John Michel Pool, Jeremiah Campbell and Cecelia Rose Blanks. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at The White Family Cemetery in Lowesville with Chaplain Miriam Dakin officiating.The family will receive friends from 7-8 pm on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at the funeral home and suggests that memorials be made in Charlotte's memory to Hospice of the Hills, 3300 Rivermont Avenue, Lynchburg, Virginia 24503.Arrangements by Wells/Sheffield Funeral Chapel of Lovingston, Virginia (434) 263-4097.
