Description	:	Christina was the daughter of Herman Erikson and Julia Anna Johnson. She married Charles Larson 20 Mar 1882. They were the parents of Lillie, Alma, Alfred, Julia, Etta, Eldred, Alvin, Russell, Edna, Erland, & Lafe Larson. Read More	Christina was the daughter of Herman Erikson and Julia Anna Johnson. She married Charles Larson 20 Mar 1882. They were the parents of Lillie, Alma, Alfred, Julia, Etta, Eldred, Alvin, Russell, Edna, Erland, & Lafe Larson. Denison Bulletin - Friday, December 9th, 1955 - Ereka Emily (Erickson) Larson, daughter of Mr and Mrs. Herman Erickson, was born Oct. 22 1861, in Gronstad Sundvall Traki, Sweden. When still a girl she came to America with her parents and settled in the vicinity of Marine, Minn., on the St. Croix River. In 1870 they homesteaded in Stockholm township near Old Kiron. She was united in marriage \|March 20, 1882, with Charles A Larson. This union was blessed with 11 children. Ereka and her husband continued to live on the homestead until 1914, when they retired and moved into Kiron. It was here that the remainder of her life was spent. Mrs Larson was converted and baptized in the First Baptist church in Stockholm township. Later she became a member of the Evangelical Free church in Kiron where she served as a member and as a charter member of the Ladies Aid Society Ereka died Dec 1 at the age of 94 years, 1 month and 9 days. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and three sons. Surviving are five daughters: Lilli, Mrs. R.H. Morgan, of Omaha; Alma, Mrs. H.W. Schreiber, of Minneapolis, Minn.; Etta, Mrs. Theo Johnson, of Kiron; and Edna, Mrs. J.E. Mauritz of Kiron; three sons: Russell of Omaha; Erland of Deloit; and Lafe of Minneapolis; 15 grandchildren and 161 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Evangelical Free church in Kiron Saturday, Dec. 3, with the Rev. MA Robey and the Rev. Vernon Olson officiating. Mrs. Waldo Winquist presided at the piano and accompanied Mrs. Vernon Olson and Mrs R.H. Hewitt as they sang "The Lights of Home" and "No Disappointment In Heaven" She also accompanied soloist John Winquist as he sang "Face To Face." Pallbearers were Herman Knief, Addie Anderson, Arthur Jacobsen, Edwin Johnson, George Youngberg, and George Johnson.
