Description	:	BENNETT — Clara Coble Hammer, 71, of Lewis Brown Road, Bennett, went home to be with the Lord Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, at Chatham Hospital in Siler City. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012, at Pleasant Grove Christian Church, where she was a member, at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Ken Huggins and the Rev. Mark Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery. Ms. Hammer was a Randolph County native and she had retired from ETI in Asheboro. Ms. Hammer was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Eugene Hammer; and her parents, Denson and Myrtle Brown Coble. Ms. Hammer is survived by daughter, Tonda Pless, and husband, Brent, of Conover; son, Tony Hammer of Bennett; granddaughter, Lauryn Hammer of Bennett; sisters, Betty Jones and husband, Howard, of Bennett, Mildred Tally and husband, Larry, of Bennett; brothers, Ray Coble and wife, Genie, of Bear Creek, David Coble and wife, Sandra, of Bennett; numerous nieces; and nephews that she loved. Visitation will be held Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, from 6-8 p.m. at Joyce-Brady Chapel, 3833 Chatham St., Bennett, NC 27208; and other times at the home of her son, 495 Lanes Mill Road, Bennett, NC.
