Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. tonight, Wednesday, at the funeral home. Clara May Ranson was born Jan. 18, 1906, in South English. She was the daughter of Walter A. and Effie Curry Elder. Her marriage to Kenneth Ranson took place Sept. 7, 1955 in Cedar Rapids. She was a resident of Fairfield for a number of years but had made her home in Cedar Rapids since their marriage. The family home is at 1112 "A" Avenue N.W., Cedar Rapids. She was a member of the First Christian Church. Mrs. Ranson is survived by her husband and a sister, Zilpha Donahue, Chicago. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three sisters.
