Moser was born Feb. 17, 1875 in Christian county, Ill., and died at Diller, Neb., Aug. 18, 1942, aged 67 years, 6 months and 1 day. Moser was born Feb. 17, 1875 in Christian county, Ill., and died at Diller, Neb., Aug. 18, 1942, aged 67 years, 6 months and 1 day. He left Illinois when a lad about thirteen, and with his parents came first to Pawnee City, Neb., later to Summerfield, Kas. On March 15, 1905 he united in marriage to Lillian L. Etchison at Seneca, Kas., and in Nov., 1905 they came to Diller, Neb., to make their home, and he established his barber business, which he has conducted ever since. He has always taken an active part in civic affairs, acting as Mayor of the town for some fifteen years. Mr. Moser was one of a family of 19 children, of whom eleven survive his passing. He also leaves to mourn his departure, his wife Lillian, his daughter, Erma Eick and the many in community who knew and loved him. Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church in Diller, on Thursday, Aug. 20 at 2 p.m., conducted by the pastor Rev. W. H. Clark.
