Description	:	Clarice C. Bunda - age 95, of Pocahontas, passed away Friday, April 10, 2015, at the West Bend Care Center in West Bend, Iowa. Clarice Catherine Reis was born May 27, 1919, in Fonda, Iowa. She was the daughter of Leo and Mary (Murphy) Reis. She was educated at St. Columbkille Catholic School in Varina. On September 30, 1941, Clarice married Wesley Bunda. They settled west of Pocahontas where they raised their four children and farmed. Bunda - age 95, of Pocahontas, passed away Friday, April 10, 2015, at the West Bend Care Center in West Bend, Iowa. Clarice Catherine Reis was born May 27, 1919, in Fonda, Iowa. She was the daughter of Leo and Mary (Murphy) Reis. She was educated at St. Columbkille Catholic School in Varina. On September 30, 1941, Clarice married Wesley Bunda. They settled west of Pocahontas where they raised their four children and farmed. Clarice loved working with the elderly and became a certified med aid after her children had left the nest. She worked for several years at the Pocahontas Manor until Wesley retired from farming. Clarice & Wesley enjoyed traveling south in the winter months and visiting relatives, they were married 58 years. Wesley passed away in February of 2000 and Clarice continued to make her home on the farm until a devastating tornado destroyed her home on April 9, 2011. Clarice was a devout Catholic and a member of the Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church, Catholic Ladies Society and the C. D. of A. She loved to dance, play BINGO, visit relatives and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed her Rat Terriers, "Penny & Polly". She always had a twinkle in her eye and a grand Irish wit. Survivors include her son, Tony (Sharon) Bunda of Pocahontas; daughter, Carlin (Ron) Osborn of Malcom; seven grandchildren, Sam, Daniel, Brian (Carrie) and Tim (Joan) Bunda, Donovan, Jordan and Cassandra Moser and nine great-grandchildren. Clarice was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wesley; sons, Richard and Wesley Jr. "Bud"; brothers, Raymond, Leonard, Leon and Albert Reis and sisters, Mary Rose Wolfe and Jean Reigelsberger.
