Clarissa Jane Greeley was born in Kankakee county, Illinois, March 1, 1850. She was married to Alvin Loghry September 8, 1869. Mr. and Mrs. Loghry have resided in Fillmore county twenty-one years. Thirty years ago Mrs. Loghry became a church member and continued in the faith until her death. Her husband and three sons and three daughters survive her. The funeral took place... Read More	LOGHRY, CLARISSA—At her home in Geneva township, at noon, Sunday, November 24, 1901, died of heart trouble, Clarissa, wife of Alvin Loghry, aged 51 years, 8 months, and 23 days. Clarissa Jane Greeley was born in Kankakee county, Illinois, March 1, 1850. She was married to Alvin Loghry September 8, 1869. Mr. and Mrs. Loghry have resided in Fillmore county twenty-one years. Thirty years ago Mrs. Loghry became a church member and continued in the faith until her death. Her husband and three sons and three daughters survive her. The funeral took place from the Geneva Methodist church at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, the very large number of people present indicating the respect in which the deceased was held in the community. The Relief corps, of which the deceased had been an honored member, attended in a body, as well as did Wilson post, G.A.R. attending in a body. The Nebraska Signal November 29th, 1901 page 5. ALSO: -- Mrs. Alvin (Clarissa Jane) Loghry died Sunday, November 24, of heart trouble at her home in Geneva Township. Mrs. Loghry was born in Illinois in 1850 and was married 06 SEP 1869.
