Description	:	Cleo Helen Graham, 80, died April 20, 2000, at Fieldcrest Manor, where she had lived since 1999. She had been the first resident of Stella Maris Home, Rockland. She was born in Unity, a daughter of Clyde and Manilla Reynolds Shorey, and graduated in 1937 from Unity High School, where she played on the championship basketball team during her senior year. Mrs. Graham worked at Diamond Match Co., Waterville, and as a nanny for a doctor and his family in West Hartford, Conn. She was born in Unity, a daughter of Clyde and Manilla Reynolds Shorey, and graduated in 1937 from Unity High School, where she played on the championship basketball team during her senior year. Mrs. Graham worked at Diamond Match Co., Waterville, and as a nanny for a doctor and his family in West Hartford, Conn. She also worked at Augusta Mental Health Institute and became a licensed practical nurse. She later lived in Boonton, N.J., and was one of the nurses who took care of Karen Ann Quinlan. Mrs. Graham returned to Maine, working at a nursing home in Lincoln until her retirement in 1983. She was a member of the Unity Rebekahs and Unity Union Church. She was previously married to Charles F. Bennett Sr., and in 1960, she married Wayne Graham of Wytopitlock. He died in 1983. An infant son, Charles Bennett Jr., died in 1939, and two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also died previously. Surviving are three daughters, Sarah Kaler and Francena Bennett, both of Bremen, and Maxine Watson of Whitefield; two sons, Clyde Bennett of Carbondale, Pa., and John Bennett of Augusta; a stepson, Dwight Graham of Mystic, Conn.; four sisters, Velma MacDonald of Albion, Maxine Gecawich of Bristol, R.I., Joyce Miller of East Providence, R.I., and Virgie Reis of Troy; four brothers, Robert Shorey of Fairfield, Glendon Shorey of Bristol, R.I., Aaron Shorey of Warwick, R.I., and Arnold Shorey of Nolanville, Texas; 23 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
