Description	:	Unity – Clyde E. Shorey, 62-year old lifelong resident of this town, died Tuesday evening, April 11, 1961, at a Waterville hospital after a long illness. Born June 12, 1898, the former woolen mill worker was the son of Edwin and Edith (Bacon) Shorey. I., Robert and George, both of Unity; four daughters, Mrs. Cleo Graham of Augusta, Mrs. Velma McDonald of Albion, Mrs. Joyce Gordon and Mrs. Maxine Gecawick, both of Bristol, Conn.; 46 grandchildren; 2 uncles, an aunt and several cousins. (Virgie (Reynolds) Reis, niece of Manilla, was raised by Clyde and Manilla.) Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. here with the Rev. Thomas Longstaff, pastor, officiating.
