Read More	Clifford Clinton Cain July 7, 1931 ~ February 3, 2022 (age 90) U.S. VETERAN Clifford Clinton Cain, 90, of Coleridge, died Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Funeral Services, 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Maple Springs United Methodist Church, Ramseur. Officiating, Rev. Chris Wood, Rev. Sam Harris.. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard. Clifford was a native and lifelong resident of Randolph County. He was a graduate of Coleridge High School where he was a bus driver. Clifford was a retired farmer and was a veteran of the United Sates Army. He loved working on lawn mowers, eating at the Ramseur Diner and fishing. Clifford was a huge NASCAR fan and pulled for Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Jr. Clifford was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Lawson Cain, son, James Wayne Cain, parents, James Arthur and Georgia Hill Cain, sisters, Bernice Johnson, Oneida Cain, Verlene Hopkins, brother, Ralph Cain. Survivors: sister-in-law, Dale Dubendorf, of Asheboro, brothers-in-law, Wayne Lawson, wife, Carol, of Coleridge, Gayle Lawson, wife, Martha, of Coleridge, nieces, Dianne Leonard, husband, David, of Asheboro, Gaye Criscoe, husband, Lane, of Ramseur, Kelly Hardin, of Greensboro, Rama Mills, of Durham, Retta Walpole, of Durham, nephews, Gary Branson, of FL., Garland Hopkins and wife, Sally Bulles, of CA, 8 great nieces and nephews. The body will lie in repose on Monday, February 7, 2022 from noon until 5:00 PM at the Loflin Funeral Home in Ramseur. Visitation, 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM, Tuesday, Maple Springs United Methodist Church, Ramseur. Condolences may be made online at www.loflinfuneralservice.com.
