Clifford Lorenz was born on February 15, 1935 on a farm south of Postville, Iowa to Victor and Evelyn (Koth) Kuhse. He was baptized on March 31, 1935 and confirmed in 1948 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Monona, Iowa. Clifford graduated from Postville High School, Postville, Iowa in 1954. Clifford was united in marriage with Judith J. Blazek on May 25, 1957 and they later divorced. Curly, as he was known by most, earned a living by driving truck, transporting livestock, working... Clifford Lorenz was born on February 15, 1935 on a farm south of Postville, Iowa to Victor and Evelyn (Koth) Kuhse. He was baptized on March 31, 1935 and confirmed in 1948 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Monona, Iowa. Clifford graduated from Postville High School, Postville, Iowa in 1954. Clifford was united in marriage with Judith J. Blazek on May 25, 1957 and they later divorced. Curly, as he was known by most, earned a living by driving truck, transporting livestock, working for Johnson’s in Elgin and doing seasonal farm work. Clifford was preceded in death by his daughter, Di Anna Kuhse; two granddaughters, Emily Vandersee and Amanda Kuhse; his parents, Victor and Evelyn Kuhse; brother, Dale Kuhse and sister-in-law, Judy Ann Kuhse. Visitation will be Sunday, August 16, 2015 from 4-7 pm at Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation service, Elgin, Iowa and one hour before services at the church on Monday. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am on Monday, August 17, 2015 at Elgin Lutheran Church, Elgin, Iowa with Rev. Harold McMillin as the Officiant. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Farmersburg-Wagner Cemetery, Farmersburg, Iowa. Obit published by Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Elgin, Iowa.
