He was born December 10, 1951, to Gene and Verneta Stoddard in Wenatchee, WA. Clint grew up on the family farm, north of Waterville, with his parents and older brother, Dick. Read More	Clinton Eugene Stoddard December 10, 1951 ~ June 15, 2014 Clint passed away peacefully at home Sunday, June 15, 2014, at the age of 62, surrounded by family and friends. He was born December 10, 1951, to Gene and Verneta Stoddard in Wenatchee, WA. Clint grew up on the family farm, north of Waterville, with his parents and older brother, Dick. In his teenage years, his passion was riding motorcycles with friends, which developed into years of motocross racing. His grandson, Kayden, is now the keeper of his many racing trophies. Upon graduating from Waterville High School in 1970, he attended Spokane Community College, where he received a degree in Diesel Mechanics. On June 17, 1972, he married his high school sweetheart, Peggy Sprauer. Their first daughter, Erica, was born June 20, 1973, followed by Samantha "Sam" on November 16, 1975. Clint was employed at Waterville Grain Company for six years, prior to fulfilling his lifelong passion of wheat farming, which he continued until health issues forced him to retire in 2010. Upon his retirement, he joined A1 Construction as Project Manager. Clint and Peggy enjoyed many years at their Chelan "condo" with their family and friends. Together, they also enjoyed many cruises, his favorite being the Alaskan cruise. When he wasn't farming, he enjoyed snowmobiling and his elk hunting trips. Clint was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws, Leo and MaryAnn Sprauer; and brother in-law, Steve Sprauer. He is survived by his wife, Peggy; daughters, Erica Stoddard and Sam (Brian) Willms; grandchildren, Kelsey, Kayden, Taylor, and Brooke; brother, Dick (Sandy); niece, Tricia; nephews, Todd and David; and cousins, Diane, Pam, Gordan and Patty. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, June 21, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at the Waterville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National MS Society and Waterville Ambulance. Please express your thoughts and memories on the online guestbook at jonesjonesbetts.com.
