Description	:	PILOT MOUNTAIN, NC ~ Mr. Clyde Ray Dezern, 65, of 128 Hillcrest Court, passed away at his residence on Wednesday morning, June 5, 2002. Mr. Dezern was born May 9, 1937, in Surry County to Erastus Hamon and Carrie Bullington Dezarn. He was a retired farmer and of the Baptist faith. Read More	PILOT MOUNTAIN, NC ~ Mr. Clyde Ray Dezern, 65, of 128 Hillcrest Court, passed away at his residence on Wednesday morning, June 5, 2002. Mr. Dezern was born May 9, 1937, in Surry County to Erastus Hamon and Carrie Bullington Dezarn. He was a retired farmer and of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Marion Dezern of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law: Dale R. Dezern and wife Jacqueline, and Darrell W. Dezern and wife Shari, all of Pinnacle; six grandchildren: Misty White and husband Kelly, and Kevin, Amber, Nikki, Lindsey, and Ashley Dezern, all of Pinnacle; a great-grandchild, Kayla White; three sisters: Margie Tuttle and husband Buddy of King, Margaret Hawley and husband Harold of Knightdale, and Jean Fulton and husband Carson of Pinnacle; a brother, Alvin Dezern and wife Norma of Pilot Mountain; a sister-in-law, Verda Mae Dezern of Pilot Mountain; two special cousins: Mickie Styers of Walnut Cove and Tim Marshall of Pinnacle; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dezern was preceded in death by two brothers: Carl and Curtis Dezern. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2002, at Pinnacle View Baptist Church with the Rev. Forrest Fulton and the Rev Ronnie Chamblin officiating. Interment will follow at Pilot View United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 this evening, June 7, 2002, at Cox-Needham Funeral Home and other times at the Dezern home. Memorials may be made in floral tribute or to Shoals Ruritan Club, c/o Ronnie Inman, 739 Corner Road, Pinnacle, NC 27043. The Dezern family is being served by Cox-Needham Funeral Home, Pilot Mountain.
