Description	:	Constance June Rodgers-Post JEFFERSON-Constance June Rodgers-Post, 63, of East Cedar Street, died Saturday, November 29, 2003 at her home. She wsa born June 1, 1940 in Ashtabula, the daughter of Glenn E. and Leola (Goff) Rodgers, and had been a lifeling area resident, living in Pierpont for 17 years before moving to Jefferson two years ago. A graduate of Grand Valley High School, she worked at a secretary for 20 years for Lyle F. Merritt in Geneva and Burns Construction, and also served as a bar manager for several establishments, including Wall Street and The Flamingo Lounge. A member... Read More	Constance June Rodgers-Post JEFFERSON-Constance June Rodgers-Post, 63, of East Cedar Street, died Saturday, November 29, 2003 at her home. She wsa born June 1, 1940 in Ashtabula, the daughter of Glenn E. and Leola (Goff) Rodgers, and had been a lifeling area resident, living in Pierpont for 17 years before moving to Jefferson two years ago. A graduate of Grand Valley High School, she worked at a secretary for 20 years for Lyle F. Merritt in Geneva and Burns Construction, and also served as a bar manager for several establishments, including Wall Street and The Flamingo Lounge. A member of the Army Navy Union and the Jefferson Eagles Club, she enjoyed sewing, woodworking, crafts, and country living. She assembled much of her own furniture and loved spending time with her family, grandchildren, and friends. She was also devoted to her longtime companions, Miss Kitty, Pe'pe, and Luther. Her survivors include her husband, Fred C. Post of Jefferson; two sons, Jeffrey Hallam of Jefferson, and Geordie Hallam of Austinburg; her mother, Leola Rodgers of Jefferson; three grandchildren, Geoffrey, Zoey Marie, and Crystal Lee; three sisters, Glenna Lee Hamilton of Ashtabula, Beverly Fertig and Delores Miller both of Jefferson; and three brothers, Gaylord H. Rodgers and Rodney Rodgers both of Jefferson, and Glenn Rodgers, Jr. of Andover. She was preceded in death by her father. A service will be held 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2003 at Ducro Funeral Services-Jefferson Home, 17 North Market Street, Jefferson. Her nephew, Reverend David Rodgers of the Jefferson Church of the Nazarene will officiate. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery. Calling Hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, December 1, 2003 at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
