Anderson, 104, died Sunday morning at the Bethany Home for the Aged at Lindsborg, where she had lived for five years. She formerly lived at 902 South Commercial St. Cora F. Borkback was born near White Cit on Oct. 28, 1882, the daughter of Per and Elizabeth Bjorkback. She married E.T. Anderson on Aug. 7, 1907, at Burdick. The Andersons lived in Burdick until 1921. Mr. Anderson was a banker in Burdick and also was involved in farming and the livestock business. In 1921, Mr. and Mrs. Anderson and their family moved to Salina where Mr. Anderson purchased and was president of the Reserved Bank of Salina. In 1927, the Anderson family moved to Wichita and they lived there until 1930, when they returned to the Burdick and Herington areas. They moved to Emporia in 1932. Mr. Anderson died Oct. 7, 1966. Mrs. Anderson's three brothers and one sister died earlier. Mrs. Anderson is survived by three sons, Kenneth T. Anderson and Russ B. Anderson of Emporia and Dr. Robert L. Anderson of Tulsa, 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Anderson was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. She was a former member of the Happy Hour Garden Club, Parliament Club and other church organizations. The funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday at St. Mark's Lutheran Church. The Rev. Dale Gregoriew, vice pastor of the church, will conduct the service. Entombment will be in the family mausoleum in Maplewood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church or to the Bethany Home for the Aged. Contributions may be sent to Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, which is in charge of the arrangements.
