Funeral services will be Monday, Dec. 14 at 2 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church, Watertown. The Rev. Joel Higgins will officiate. Dorothy Brugman will be the organist. She was born on June 5, 1917 in Day County, the daughter of John and Nettie (Rhone) Dobson. She grew up in the Waubay/Webster area where she obtained her education. She married Edward F. Redetzke on July 2, 1937 and the couple had two children, Robert and Donna. They lived on the family farm near Waubay for 26 years until Edward's death on July 7, 1963. She was employed at Bethesda Nursing Home for six years before moving to Watertown. She then was employed at Jenkins Living Center. She married Marvin L. Heim of Clark on Sept. 9, 1976. The couple were members of the First United Methodist Church since 1977. She enjoyed puzzles, needlework and reading. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward. Survivors include her husband, Marvin of Watertown; her children, Robert (Marilyn) Redetzke of Rapid City, and Donna (Richard) Aggen of Brighton, Colo.; her brother, Walter of Salem, Ore.; her sister, Caroline Knutson of Salem; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
