She was born July 30, 1915, in Thurston, the daughter of the late Henry Musser and Besse Taylor Leitnaker. She graduated in 1932 from Thurston High School and from Ohio State University in 1936 with a degree in social administration. Read More	Jane Kistler Jane Leitnaker Kistler, 86, Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2002, at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born July 30, 1915, in Thurston, the daughter of the late Henry Musser and Besse Taylor Leitnaker. She graduated in 1932 from Thurston High School and from Ohio State University in 1936 with a degree in social administration. She was a member of First United Methodist Church; Laura Rice Seaman Circle of First UMC; lifetime member of OSU Alumni Association; Daughters of the American Revolution in which she served as regent; Order of the Eastern Star; Delta Gamma Sorority, president during senior year; Sigma Alpha Sigma Sorority (for social administration students); former member of Areme Club and Parents League; and former member of Twig 2, Lancaster Hospital. She is survived by her son, Keith Judson Kistler of Lancaster; daughter, Karen Jane (David) Billman of Lancaster; granddaughter, Sarah J. (Matthew) Backiewicz of Columbus; grandson, Matthew D. Billman of Lancaster; great-grandsons, Zackary and Brendan Backiewicz; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Judson Carnes Kistler; two brothers, Phillip and Henry Leitnaker; one sister, Ellen Leitnaker; and a sister-in-law, Esther Crook Leitnaker. Cremation has taken place. No calling hours will be observed. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Maple Grove Cemetery with Pastor Larry Brown officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements were made with Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home.
