Description	:	Daniel Montgomery Ross, son of Isaac Ross and Elizabeth Pembroke, was born July 24, 1801 in Allegany, Maryland . He married Elizabeth Mason. They joined the M.E. Church in the year 1828, of which church they were a member at the time of their death. They moved from Athens Co, OH to Montgomery Co, IA in 1835. Her husband proceeded her to the home beyond July 2, 1862. She was the mother of six children, four sons and two daughters; five of whom are still living. One son died in infancy.
