Description	:	LANCASTER: Dannie Lee McMillen, 76 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Friday March 15, 2013 at his home. He was born on October 22, 1936 to the late Paul and Minnie McMillen. Dannie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Englewood, Florida. He attended Faith Memorial Church in Lancaster. Dannie served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam. Marlene McMillen; brother, Ralph... Read More	LANCASTER: Dannie Lee McMillen, 76 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Friday March 15, 2013 at his home. He was born on October 22, 1936 to the late Paul and Minnie McMillen. Dannie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Englewood, Florida. He attended Faith Memorial Church in Lancaster. Dannie served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam. He worked on Jet engines and retired after 23 years of service. He worked for Disney World in Florida and retired from Walmart. Dannie is survived by his loving wife, D. Marlene McMillen; brother, Ralph McMillen of Riverside, California, also included his step-children, Cindy Knapp, Randy Davis, Kim (Carter) Lowery, Kasander (Robert) Stuart and Christine (David) Jaye. In addition there are nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, George W. Jones and Fred "Spooky" McMillen; sister and brother-in-law, Mary J. and Jack Howell; brothers in life, Charles "Bud" Landen and Paul Delong. Much gratitude is extended to his nephew, Rob (Pam) Howell and niece, Wendi (Perry) Basten, and many family members and friends for their compassion, time and efforts during the last few years of his life. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday March 20, 2013 at the SHERIDAN FUNERAL HOME with Pastor John Morgan officiating. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be on Wednesday March 20 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
