Description	:	Debra K. Ney, 50, died Dec. 10 at her residence here. She was born Sept. 26, 1958, at Wellington, the daughter of Charles and Mary (Douglas) Bennett. She married Michael Ney on Oct. 22, 1976, at Hoisington. He survives. A longtime Hoisington resident, she was a former dispatcher for the Hoisington Police Department and assistant manager of Cardinal Apartments, Inc. Mrs. Ney attended St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Hoisington, and was a member of Kansas Housing and Star. Mrs. Ney attended St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Hoisington, and was a member of Kansas Housing and Star. Survivors, in addition to her husband, of Hoisington, include two sons, Shawn Ney of Hoisington and Heath Ney of Great Bend; a daughter, Heather Ney of Great Bend; her mother, Mary Orton of Council Grove; her father, Charles Bennett of Great Bend; three sisters, Cathy Hawthorne of Allen, Pam Emly of Lebo and Linda Sanko of Great Bend; and five grandchildren, Nastassja, Dakota, Caitlin, Hunter and Ethan. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Alan Orton, father-in-law, Francis Ney, and brother-in-law, Max Taylor. A family rosary service will be at 7 p.m. today at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Hoisington, with Father Dwight Birket officiant. Burial will be at St. John Cemetery, Hoisington. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday, at the funeral home.
