Description	:	Stratford Courier April 4, 1940 Obituary Delia Andrews Miss Delia Andrews, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Andrews, was born in Jamestown, N.Y., on Dec. 23, 1857, and died in the Swedish Old People's home in Boone on March 23, 1940, at the age of 83 years. Read More	Stratford Courier April 4, 1940 Obituary Delia Andrews Miss Delia Andrews, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Andrews, was born in Jamestown, N.Y., on Dec. 23, 1857, and died in the Swedish Old People's home in Boone on March 23, 1940, at the age of 83 years. Her parents were highly respected residents of the South Marion community for many years and in their retiring years lived in Stratford and their daughter lived with them here until their deaths. Some twenty years ago she went to live in the Swedish Old People's home and had since been a highly respected resident there, kind and good to all. Her faith was in God and she continually thanked Him for his loving care, praying that He would take her home so she could live forever with Him. Her parents, five brothers and five sisters have preceded her in death and there is only one surviving sister, Mrs. J.A. Oppedahl, of Stanhope. A number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were held Tuesday of last week in the Swedish Old People's home and were conducted by the Rev. I Halleen. Interment was in the South Marion cemetery. Daughter of Peter Andrews. Died at the Swedish Old Peoples Home in Boone on March 23, 1940. Buried March 26, 1940 at South Marion Cemetery (unmarked grave).
