Description	:	Della Carteyn, 83 years, of Grand Rapids, Ohio and a former Bryan resident, died Thursday, December 18, 2008 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, Ohio. Della was born on August 26, 1925 in Marion, Illinois, the daughter of William and Tanda (Hall) Blair. She married Rene Carteyn Jr. in March of 1952 in Bryan, Ohio and he survives. Della began her working career as a switchboard operator. She then went to work for the Aro Corp as a machine operator for many years. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2008 in Evansport Cemetery, Evansport with Pastor Larry Snavely, officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements were handled by Oberlin-Ford Funeral Home, Bryan, Ohio. Memorials in the name of Della Carteyn may be given to the Billy Graham Association.
