Owner-operator of Hemmelgarn Shoes, Ft. Recovery, for many years, she was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, both Ft. Recovery. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Burkettsville, and the church's Ladies Guild. She loved interacting with children. They were all precious in her sight and made her smile. Her favorite pastimes were playing cards, cooking and fishing, especially when the fish were biting. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Burkettsville, with Rev. Tom Hemm officiating. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery.
