Mr. Adamson left Loup City about fifteen years ago, and since then has lived in the western part of the state. Mr. Adamson was a Loup City resident for 38 years, and was a carpenter by trade, and many of the business and frame dwellings here were built by him. ADAMSON A former Loup City resident passed away at the home of his daughter Mrs. Jack Pageler, at Malbeta, Nebraska, Friday March 16. Mr. Adamson left Loup City about fifteen years ago, and since then has lived in the western part of the state. Mr. Adamson was a Loup City resident for 38 years, and was a carpenter by trade, and many of the business and frame dwellings here were built by him. Dennis Lee Adamson was born at Newton, Iowa, February 25, 1862, and died at Malbeta, Nebraska, at the age of seventy two years. Six children survived they are Mrs. Jack Pageler, Malbeta, Nebraska; Mrs. Elizabeth Taylor, of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Mrs. Mayme Ladegard, Sidney, Nebraska; Howard M. Adamson, Council Bluffs, Iowa; Clyde E. Adamson, Council Bluffs, Iowa; Frank Elwood Adamson, Melbeta, Nebraska. He also leaves 12 grand children, two sisters, Mrs. James Blakely of Creston, Iowa, and Mrs. Ella Blakely Los Angeles, California. Mr. Adamson was of Quaker parentage. He was united in marriage October 23, 1885, at Hastings, Nebraska, to Anna Ford. Mrs. Adamson passed away 13 years ago at Sidney, Nebraska. For the past 14 years Mr. Adamson has made his home with his daughter and husband Mr. and Mrs. Jack Pageler at Melbeta, Nebraska. The body was brought to Loup City Monday in a short service held at the Beushausen undertaking parlors in charge of Rev. G. M. Carter pastor of the Methodist church, and interment was in Evergreen cemetery, beside his wife. Mr. Adamson had many warm friends in Loup City and his passing was received here with sincere regrets by all who knew him. The Sherman County Times - Mar 23 1934
