Description	:	FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR DEWEY BRIDENBAUGH Funeral services were held in the Reck Funeral Home, Miller, Tuesday afternoon for Dewey Bridenbaugh, former resident of Hand county, who died Friday, Sept 3, at the Veterans' Hospital in Hot Springs, SD, following a lingering illness. The Rev. Holman Cowherd was in charge of the services and burial was in the GAR Cemetery. A quartet from the First Presbyterian Church furnished the music. Read More	FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR DEWEY BRIDENBAUGH Funeral services were held in the Reck Funeral Home, Miller, Tuesday afternoon for Dewey Bridenbaugh, former resident of Hand county, who died Friday, Sept 3, at the Veterans' Hospital in Hot Springs, SD, following a lingering illness. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, one brother, Phillip, and one sister, Helen. Mr. Bridenbaugh was born February 5, 1898, at Coleridge, Nebraska, the son of Ulysses and Eva Bridenbaugh. He was united in marriage to Miss Doris Buckendorf on Feb. 25, 1921 and to this union four children were born. She died on Dec. 1, 1945, and following her death he sold his farm and moved to Lance Creek, Wyoming. On Nov. 26, 1948, he was married to Sarah Winsell Parsons. In 1952 he became ill and moved to Hot Springs where he resided and been a patient at the Veterans Hospital from time to time. He is survived by his widow Sarah; one son, Dale, Fullerton, Calif.; three daughters, Helen Phillips, Letcher; Barbara Obert, Watertown, Minn.; and Mary Moen, Idaho; one brother, Leonard, Sioux City, Iowa; one sister Ruth Bridenbaugh, Miller; and 11 grandchildren.
