Sarah Ellen Winsell was born Oct. 15, 1901, to James Noble and Harriet (Hershman) Winsell, in Henrietta, Texas. In 1904 the family returned to South Dakota and lied for a year in Holden Township and then moved to the Winsell family farm on Spring Lake, in Spring Lake Township. She graduated from the eighth grade there. She married George Parsons in 1920. They lived in Idaho, Buffalo, N.Y., and Custer. In 1948 she married Dewey Bridenbaugh. They lived in Lance Creek, Wyo., moving to Hot Springs in 9152. In 1985 she came to Miller to live in the Good Samaritan Prairie Center Home, and later to the Kingsbury Memorial Manor in Lake Preston. She is survived by one son, James Parsons of Clinton, Tenn.; two grandsons, David Parsons of Nashville, Tenn., and Dr. James Parsons of Gainesville, Fla.; four stepchildren, Helen Phillips of Mitchell, Barbara Obert of Edina, Minn., Mary o Moen of Richland, Wash., and Dale Bridenbaugh of Aptos, Calif., and two brothers, Carl Winsell of Miller, and George Winsell of Englewood, Calif.; and one sister, Anna Mae Dunham, Monroe, Calif. She was preceded in death by both her husbands, her parents, six brothers and two sister's. Pallbearers will be Clayton Sisk, Donald Grace, Gary Ehlers, John Palmer, Harold Koch and Tom Winsell.
