Diana Hunter was born June 28, 1946, at Grand Island to Leonard and Louise Bredthauer Wells and died Dec. 4, 1985, north of Fremont due to an auto accident at the age of 39. Diana was raised near Cotesfield and attended grade school at Cotesfield. She then attended North Loup-Scotia High School and graduated in 1963. She went to Lincoln to take nurses training at the Lincoln General Hospital and graduated from there in 1966. She was united in marriage to William Hunter April 29, 1967, at Scotia. They made their home in Lincoln for a short time, and for the last nine years she lived in Greeley, Colorado, where she was administrator for the Windsor Health Care. Recently Diana had accepted the position of the Nebraska Region ARA Living Centers and had just moved to Fremont to make her home. Diana had just received the Administrator of the year Award for the Colorado region for her caring and giving for the elderly. Diana was baptized at the St. John's Lutheran Church in Mira Valley July 14, 1946, and was confirmed May 17, 1959, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Scotia. Diana was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church at Greeley, Colorado. Survivors include her parents, Leonard and Louise Wells; her children, Jennifer and John both of Fremont; a brother and his wife Kaye of Ashill, England; and a sister, Karen of St. Louis, Missouri.
