He was born on June 28, 1939 in Springfield the son of Ralph and Della (Frock) Driscoll. He was preceded in death by his wife Janet (Speary) Driscoll in 1994 and they were married twenty-four years. He worked at Fulmer's Supermarket for over thirty years and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and attended Rockway Lutheran Church. Driscoll, 74, of Springfield passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2013 in the Ohio Masonic Home. He was born on June 28, 1939 in Springfield the son of Ralph and Della (Frock) Driscoll. He was preceded in death by his wife Janet (Speary) Driscoll in 1994 and they were married twenty-four years. He worked at Fulmer's Supermarket for over thirty years and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and attended Rockway Lutheran Church. He loved music and sang as a tenor in the Springfield Symphony Chorus and the New Carlisle Community Chorus. Donnie was an avid bowler and was secretary/treasurer for the bowling league at Victory Lanes. He also served on the Rockway Volunteer Fire Department. Donnie is survived by his brother and sister-in-law Ron and Suzanne Driscoll of Zanesville, his aunts: Inez Shultz of Yellow Springs, Edna (Wallace) Smith of Springfield, Frieda George of Springfield, and Eldon (Cheryll) Driscoll of Avon, Indiana; many nephews, nieces and cousins, step children: Dianna L. Held, Deborah L. (Edward) Hemphill, David L. Haley IV (Barbara), James L. Haley, Denise L. Haley, step son-in-law, Ron Wolfe and many grandchildren and great grandchildren,. He was also preceded in death by his parents, maternal and paternal grandparents, step daughter, Judith Wolfe, and step son-in-law, Owen C. Held. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 from 5-7:00 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME where services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Dick McDaniel and Pastor William Schwochow officiating. Burial will be in the Vale Cemetery. LR 13 Oct 2013
