Description	:	Dora Alice White, daughter of Jesse W. and Clara A. White, was born in Rockport (sic), Mo., on July 21, 1880, and passed away at her home in Nelson, Nebr., Dec. 20, 1951, at the age of 71 years, 4 months and 29 days. The first ten years of her life were spent in Rockport (sic). From there she moved with her parents to a farm east of Nelson. On Dec. 29, 1900, she was united in marriage to Arthur M. White, was born in Rockport (sic), Mo., on July 21, 1880, and passed away at her home in Nelson, Nebr., Dec. 20, 1951, at the age of 71 years, 4 months and 29 days. The first ten years of her life were spent in Rockport (sic). From there she moved with her parents to a farm east of Nelson. On Dec. 29, 1900, she was united in marriage to Arthur M. Ray at the home of her parents. To this union five children were born. Four daughters survive their mother, Nola Ray of Lincoln, Fay Beavers of Edgar, Hazel Wheeland and Doris Menke of Nelson. One son, Wilfred Marcellas, died in infancy. When a young lady she united with the Evangelical church and after her marriage she transferred her membership to the Methodist church in Nelson. Last Christmas she and her husband celebrated their Golden Wedding anniversary. Her father, mother and two sisters preceded her in death. Besides her husband and daughters, Mrs. Ray leaves to mourn her passing: two brothers, Fred of Wellfleet, and Norman of North Platte; one aunt, Emma Jones of Rockport (sic), Mo.; seven grandchildren, several nephews, nieces and many friends. Funeral services were conducted in the Nelson Methodist church (sic) at 2 o'clock Saturday, Dec. 22, the Rev. Harold J. Coates officiating. Burial was made in the Nelson cemetery (sic).
