She was baptized in infancy in a German Congregational Church in Spring Creek and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in March, 1921 by the late Rev. Dr. R. A. White. Read More	From the Wolbach Messenger, May 20, 1965, page 1, transcribed by Linda Berney: Dora Klein Lantz was born December 23, 1904 at Wolbach, the daughter of Andrew Klein and Freda Ricka Velmena Boeck (Beck). She was baptized in infancy in a German Congregational Church in Spring Creek and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in March, 1921 by the late Rev. Dr. R. A. White. She received her education in rural schools in the Spring Creek community. She was united in marriage to William Lantz at Grand Island on Dec. 29th, 1925. They made their first home on the James farm northwest of Wolbach, living there 15 years until purchasing the Cooney farm in 1941. The Lantz's retired in 1952, moving to Wolbach where they have made their home since. Mrs. Lantz departed this life May 12th, 1965 at St. Paul, Nebraska at the age of 60 years, 4 months and 19 days. She is survived by her husband, William of Wolbach; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Glines of Alliance, Mrs. Charles Glines of Cushing and Mrs. William Allen of St. Paul; three brothers, Edward of Sutton and Herman and Albert of Wolbach. Preceding her in death were: her parents, one brother, William and one sister, Mrs. Anna Slattery. Mrs. Lantz served her church in many capacities, as an officer in the United Lutheran Church Women, Circles and Altar Guild. Her hobbies were her garden and flowers as well as excelling at needlework which was received proudly by many relatives and friends as gifts.
