Description	:	Doral Mae Hadley Truax 89, Mooresville, died March 20, 2010, in Jackson, Michigan. Five days after birth, Doral received a Cradle Roll Certificate from the Mooresville Friends Church where she remained active all her life, serving on numerous committees, holding various offices, teaching Sunday School, and volunteering for many projects and fundraisers. A graduate of Mooresville High School in 1938, Doral attended Earlham College and took additional secretarial training in Indianapolis. She married the late Ross Allen Truax on August 10, 1943. Doral also worked as a secretary for Curtis-Wright, which produced airplane propellers during World War II. As a school secretary, Doral worked for 18 years for Mooresville Public Schools at Newby Elementary, the junior high, and the superintendent's office. In addition to her church membership, she was a member of Tri Kappa Sorority. In addition to her husband, Doral was preceded in death by her parents, Venard Stierwalt and Dolly Marie (Joyner) Hadley and a brother, Sherril Thomas "Tommy" Hadley. Survivors include her sister, Wilma Jean "Billie" Parsons of Avon; son, David Edward Truax; daughter, Margaret Ann Beison; granddaughters, Amy (Beison) Schoening and Angela (Beison) Carter; great grandsons, Colin Avry Carter and Ethan Ross Schoening. Friends and family will gather on Friday, March 26, 2010, 5 to 8 p.m., in the Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 27, 2010, in the Mooresville Friends Church. Pastor Sue Whitesel will officiate with burial following in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.
