Anderson, 84, of 205 Wildwood Drive, died at 1:38 p.m. January 30, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.She was born July 16, 1929, on a farm near Eldon to Walter C. and Catherine Thorne Johnson. She married Robert Keith Bob Anderson on August 21, 1950. He preceded her in death on July 22, 2002.Doris grew up near Dahlonega and attended Dahlonega School. (Joe) Funkhouser of Ankeny; 10 grandchildren, Joshua, Jennifer, James, Kristin, Becky, Nathan, Bradley, Benjamin, Brady and Brett; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister, Lola Timmins of Ottumwa; a nephew, Chuck Johnson of Davenport; and a niece, Sue Ann Janoch of Alvin, Texas.She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Charles, Lester and Harvey Johnson; and an infant sister, Lavina Johnson.Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at North Court Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Hemmings officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.Visitation begins at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Reece Funeral Home with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.Memorials may be made to North Court
